Prélude & Valse en Si mineur

The Prelude in B minor took quite a long time to reach the final state you are hearing now: the first bars were composed on the guitar in the mid '90s ; then, more than ten years later, a few chords were added and lyrics were written ; then I thought it might be interesting to turn the song into a solo piano piece. The result is a short work that serves as an introduction to the Waltz in B minor. # The Waltz in B minor was built on chords from its prelude, with Chopin in mind, obviously. There's a central section in B major and 4/4 time, so it's not a true waltz from beginning to end, but does it really matter? I guess it feels right that way.
