Another rather jazzy piece. It features three similar parts that are variations on the same slightly odd chord sequence. It is only when I sat down to type the score that I realised that most of it alternates between 5/4 and 4/4. As with the Thèmes Pousse-Fouguite, I had been so focused on the melody that I had not paid attention to the meter, which, after all, is probably a good thing.  |
